  • Oppsi; Whoppi says Ronald McDonald stands for “SAFE”!?

I hardly ever watch The View, but was a captive audience as it played in the waiting room yesterday. I tried to ignore the ridiculous banter about Ronald McDonald and should he be fired or not, but couldn’t ignore when I heard Whoppi Goldberg actually say “Ronald McDonald stands for SAFE”. Whoppi, seriously woman what world do you live in?

I think the debate of should a iconic clown be fired or not is totally irrelevant. The converstation should be about IS McDonald’s food healthy for anyone, especially children!

    For the record; it’s NOT!

Ladies of the view, if you want to have a real debate, let me bring my 3, 7 and 9 year old Happy Meal cheeseburgers to the show and let’s talk.

I have done NOTHING to them since they were bought, they are still in the bags that they came in and they are in pretty darn good shape. NO mold, NO rot, NO breakdown. Can’t say that about a 9 year old apple, banana, brocolli, carrot, grilled chicken breast or even macaroni!

Let’s have debate on what matters…our kids health, NOT a clown.

And for that matter, if you think Ronnie stands for SAFE you have another surprise in store! Why not ask me about their old meal merry go round, outdoor play areas from when I was a kid and WHY they are now enclosed, rubberized and plastered w/ “Play at your own risk” signs. SAFE? I beg to differ! But only take this debate on if you are willing to see your statement of Ronald McDonald stands for SAFE completely and totally shot down.

But since McDonald’s buys air time on the View, it’s unlikely you will want to hear what I have to say, afterall, ad dollars stand for SAFE!…as in job safetyl

The View is a one sided view at best. Bought, paid for and neatly packaged as real. It really sucks if you ask my opinion.

Safe? I nearly choked to death when you uttered those words Whoppi. Even from a Liberal that was an absurd stretch of the truth.
