PGX Fiber Supplement: Why Dr. Oz Put It On His Weight Loss Hot List
    Monday, May 23, 2011 by Ben H

PGX weight loss supplements contain one of the most powerful natural fibers available to help promote healthy blood sugar levels already within the normal range, support healthy appetite control, as well as help curb food cravings that are so often to blame for overindulging and weight gain.

On today’s “The Dr. Oz Show”, Dr. Oz featured Natural Factors’ PGX Daily Ultra Matrix as part of his weight loss hot list. According to Dr. Oz, “To lose weight, it’s important to get 25 to 30 grams of fiber each day, however, the average woman gets only about 12 grams.”

PGX (PolyGlycopleX) is a powerful fiber derived from konjac root that can absorb a very high amount of water compared to its weight. The PGX granules can absorb the water content of your meals at a rapid rate, helping to make you feel full faster. As a result, your portions become smaller, you eat less and your body maintains a healthy caloric intake without you feeling like you’ve starved yourself.

When combined with a healthy diet and exercise routine, the PGX fiber supplement can help you lose extra pounds and maintain a healthy weight. It is important to drink plenty of water when taking PGX, because it does such a good job of absorbing water and expanding to help make you feel full.

The key to any successful weight loss program is appetite control (not severe caloric restriction or starvation) balanced with being active and getting good exercise. PGX can help, and it has been clinically tested and proven safe and effective. Now, Dr. Oz himself has given this natural supplement his seal of approval.

He really does promote many things as did oprah. everyone goes out and buys it all. I like when he has real weight loss stories of real people who have lost weight and he is not promoting anything. One lady he had on lost 135 pounds and was now a aerobics instructor. I think her name was Susan another I really liked was a lady name Jill who lost 100 pounds a nd then won a beauty pageant in Idaho. He has had a super young gal who doped 80 just by starting to exercise/.

when he promotes things I always wonder why does he get paid too? Or all all of these millions of products worth the money.

I have to chime in w/ my $.02 worth; I have known Dr. Oz since 2005 and I would be amazed if he EVER accepts as little as ONE dollar and certainly not millions to educate people about something he believes in and knows will help them. He personally is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I have EVER met in my life. I am a NO ONE, a small time, chick who lost weight and wrote a book about it—NOTHING special about me at all. Met him, showed him my book–he liked it and provided me a quote for the cover. When it came out, but then he had his Oprah and Friends XM show and I emailed him sad because the book didn’t make the Times list…his immediate response was well you should come to NYC and be on my show. NOT “hey be on my show, sell books and give me a piece of it!” NOT him, not in his nature. 2 years later, he’s a BIG deal, on Oprah’s show all the time and my daughter got sick at college. I sent him the blook work, asked his opinion…he called me and conferenced in Dr. Jacob Teitlebaum, leading expert in her condition. Introduced us and said goodbyes as he had a paitent being prepped for surgery–heart surgery!

I am a paid spokesperson for PGX because I lost 50 lbs using it, I LOVE it and will shout it to anyone willing to listen to me, and yes I am also compensated but would do so for free. But my pay allows me to GIVE what I do know, my 26 -week motivational approach to lifestyle change. I get to help people for FREE to lose weight doing what I KNOW they must to lose weight and keep it off for ever thanks to PGX. I educacate about PGX but no one ever HAS to buy to it get and continue to get MY help.

I know it is great, I know the science behind it is sound and that is the ONLY reason DR. OZ mentioned it because he KNOWS it too.

I will defend that man’s ethics with my last breathe. He is a good man, husband, father, doctor and kind hearted soul. He is an educator and a darn good one. Never will a negative aspect of that man come to light because he is who he is a good guy. Take one look at his lovely wife, their genunine love, their thoughful smart and well behaved children—that speaks volumns!

    Respectfully,
